1. Adults Only (18+) Covenant
PurelyTalk is strictly intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using the platform, registering an account, or participating in matchmaking, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Underage access is strictly prohibited. If we learn or reasonably suspect that a user is under the age of 18, their session and account will be immediately terminated, and their device or IP may be permanently blocked.
2. Free and Anonymous Service
PurelyTalk is provided as a free voice-first communication service. No mandatory subscription, paid tier, or financial commitment is required to connect with conversational partners. Guest sessions allow anonymous access without requiring real-name registration or phone number authentication.
3. Unrecorded Voice Conversations (Zero Server Recording)
Your privacy in spoken conversations is fundamental. PurelyTalk utilizes WebRTC peer-to-peer (P2P) connections and encrypted TURN relay servers (DTLS-SRTP). Spoken voice media flows directly between caller endpoints or through transit relays:
- Zero server-side recording: PurelyTalk does not record, intercept, transcribe, process, or store your voice audio on any server.
- Zero media archiving: No audio recordings exist on our infrastructure after a call ends.
- Third-party recording prohibited: You may not record, reproduce, broadcast, or redistribute private voice conversations with another user without their explicit, prior consent. Doing so is a material breach of these Terms.
4. Prohibited Content and Conduct (IT Rules 2021 Compliance)
In accordance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you agree not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information or communication that:
- belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise inconsistent with or contrary to the laws of India;
- is harmful to child or minors in any manner;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, or other proprietary rights;
- deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any misinformation or information which is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature;
- impersonates another person or entity;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or prevents investigation of any offence, or is insulting other nation;
- contains software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- is patently false and untrue, and is written or published in any form, with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity or agency for financial gain or to cause any injury to any person;
- violates any law for the time being in force.
5. Instant Disconnect, Safety Controls, and Reporting
You have full autonomy over your conversations at all times. You may mute your microphone, skip to the next partner, or end any call immediately using the on-screen controls without penalty or explanation.
If you encounter behavior that violates these Terms or threatens your safety, use the built-in Report control. Reporting allows you to classify the abuse, provide optional details, and instantly terminate the match. Abuse reports are investigated by our moderation team.
6. Platform Moderation and Enforcement
PurelyTalk reserves the right, in accordance with applicable laws, to investigate reports and enforce compliance through:
- Immediate call termination and partner disconnection;
- Temporary or permanent rate-limiting and IP restrictions;
- Suspension or permanent termination of registered accounts;
- Preservation and disclosure of technical audit metadata to authorized law enforcement agencies under Rule 3(1)(j) of the IT Rules.
7. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In compliance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, PurelyTalk has appointed a dedicated Grievance Officer:

- Statutory Response Timelines: PurelyTalk acknowledges complaints within twenty-four (24) hours and resolves them within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt.
- Emergency Content Removal: Complaints regarding non-consensual sharing of intimate images or sexual content will be acted upon within twenty-four (24) hours pursuant to Rule 3(2)(b).
8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
PurelyTalk is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. As an intermediary platform facilitating real-time user-to-user voice communications, PurelyTalk does not pre-screen live voice audio and assumes no liability for spontaneous user speech. You interact with stranger partners at your own discretion and risk.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of PurelyTalk shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of competent jurisdiction at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
